Second Tip: Set up Organization
Once you clean the mess, you want to prevent it from happening again. Organizing helps so much! Use old shoe boxes for closets or boxes jewelry came in for drawers. I have found that the drawer organizers that are suggested to be used as silverware holders work just as great if not better than designated drawer organizers. I organized my makeup drawer with a cutlery drawer organizer from the Container Store and found it to be perfect for my compacts. It was cheaper than the jewelry drawer organizers and within its major divisions I naturally use for different types of makeup: face, eyes, lips, etc.

Getting Started! Tip #1
First Tip: Divide and Conquer
Choose an area you would like to organize and clean. Make three piles: keep, throw away, giveaway/sell. This will help tremendously. Keep the things you use daily or have used within the past 6 months. Throw away the junk and broken items. Giveaway or sell the things that you havent used or won't use in the future. Chances are if you haven't used it in the last 6 months or even a year, you won't miss it and it's just taking up space. One exception to the rule: if you forgot about something you had as a result of it being hidden beneath stuff or stuffed at the back of your closet. Put it somewhere that you'll be able to have quick access to. But be warned, if you don't use it after making a note to - just get rid of it.

Road to Organization!
The road to getting organized is a tough but rewarding one. My organization skills used to consist of throwing clothes into piles around my room. With a bit more effort and a conscious decision, I became organized and didn't get lost in my sea of messiness. Introduction
Hi! I'm starting this blog because I thought a website that combines finding a good deal and ideas on how to be organized would be a good idea for a blog. I've seen so many magazines or even websites that equate splurging with $500. I figured that if I can find a good deal on things I buy, why not share it with others? No one's probably reading this yet but if you see this blog and like it, feel free to recommend it to your friends! I'll probably start posting within the next few days and try to update it when I'm able to!
